In his spare time, Hector loves to fish and run his dogs beloved lurchers, Gael and Neve, on the moors.

In her down time, Jane is an avid walker and has raised a huge sum of money for the local RNLI. She loves to spend time with her family and you’ll never see her out and about without her Staffie X, Dooker, by her side!

In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys travelling, going to the gym and taking her two dogs, Paddy the English Springer and Grace the Working Cocker, for long walks and swims.

Rebecca

Rebecca started work on reception in May 2022. She has a history in agriculture so the move to Old Mill seemed only natural. She thoroughly enjoys the friendly and welcoming environment and her amazing work colleagues. Getting to cuddle puppies is a big plus too!!

When not at work, Rebecca spends time with her young family, loves to knit and takes her three Whippets for runs on the moors and beach!

Kirsteen joined Old Mill as an RVN in January 2023. She did a lot of placement work here while studying and couldn’t wait to come back full-time. Kirsteen has a special interest in nutrition and is excited to expand on this further.

Kirsteen’s spare time is split between socialising in Stornoway with her friends and visiting her family in Harris. As a student, Kirsteen would make the long drive from Leverburgh to Stornoway and back daily. She has a lovely Yorkshire Terrier called Carly who she would be lost without!

Halley Martin - Student Nurse

Halley first came to the practice on work experience from school and never left! She would come in to work after school and on Saturdays. Once she left school, Halley joined the Practice full-time in Reception and in January 2024 left the reception team to pursue Veterinary Nursing.

In her spare time, Halley is kept busy helping out on a farm and keeping her young Border Collie, Moss, amused. She loves to take him on long hill walks, strolls on the beach and has started to train him to work the sheep.
